Director, of Farm Certification, CCOF Certification Services, LLC
As the director of farm certification at CCOF, April Crittenden has a wealth of knowledge on the National Organic Program and environmental stewardship in farming systems. CCOF is a nonprofit organization that advances organic agriculture for a healthy world by advocating for organic policies, supporting the growth of organic through education and grants, and providing organic certification that is personal and accessible.
Crittenden began her career with CCOF over 10 years ago. In various roles over the years, Crittenden has worked with growers, handlers and livestock producers; improved client communication systems; oversaw complaints, investigations, and CCOF’s pesticide and GMO sampling programs. In 2016, Crittenden worked with SC Labs to develop and implement the Envirocann Certification Program, which offers certification services to cannabis producers.
Crittenden graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with Bachelor of Arts degrees in environmental studies and anthropology. She also holds a variety of certificates from the National Organic Program, the Accredited Certifier Association, and the International Organic Inspectors Association
Regional Manager - Americas, Westford Trade Services
Bahar Gökçe is an executive level manager at Westford Trade Services Ltd. serving as Regional Manager of Americas. She is also heading the Global Soft Commodities Division at Westford - a specialist provider of international trade solutions for businesses throughout the world, ranging from conventional trade transactions and supply chain management services to structured trade solutions that my require trade finance. She has structured trade finance services in combination with supply chain management to clients dealing with oilseeds, animal feed, vegetable oils, pulses, grains, tobacco, fertilizers and steel materials in Americas, Europe, Asia, Middle East and Turkey. Prior to joining WTS, Bahar gained experiences working as Assistant General Manager at Metalden Foreign Trade&Shipping LLC in USA, as Assistant General Manager at Ayhan Sezer Oil&Food Industry (an oilseed crusher) in Turkey and as Finance Specialist at Hyundai-Assan Automotive Industry in Turkey. She holds a BA degree on Economics from Boğaziçi University and an Executive MBA degree from same college.
Peter Golbitz is president of Agromeris, an advisory firm that focuses on the unique needs of the specialty food and agricultural marketplace. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Mr. Golbitz works closely with leading businesses and organizations on market and business development projects.
Prior to founding Agromeris, Peter Golbitz was the Director of International Business Development at SunOpta, a leading U.S. food processor. Mr. Golbitz was also the founder and president of Soyatech, a consulting and publishing company that produces the annual Soya & Oilseed Bluebook. Mr. Golbitz is on the board of directors of the World Soy Foundation, the Sustainable Food Trade Association, and sits on technical committees of the Organic Trade Association.
Ag Sourcing Director, Amy's Kitchen
Timothy Griffin is the Director of Agricultural Sourcing at Amy's Kitchen, an organic manufacturer of gluten free, vegan and vegetarian foods. Tim and his team are responsible for sourcing the organic ag ingredients used in Amy's products, including fresh & frozen vegetables, beans, grains, & nuts.
Prior to working at Amy's, Tim served as the Director of Consulting Services at Ag Innovations, a non-profit focused on developing innovative solutions to create a more viable, equitable, and sustainable food system. Tim also spent 8 years working as a corporate sustainability consultant, advising Fortune 500 companies including Walmart, AT&T, Johnson & Johnson, and Duke Energy on their environmental and corporate social responsibility programs. Tim holds a dual M.S. in International Agricultural Development and Agricultural & Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis.

Eric Jackson of Pipeline Foods, LLC, is a developer of sustainable supply chains in agriculture. Pipeline is a partnership between professional management and institutional capital with a mandate to address underdeveloped value chains, particularly Organic and Non-GMO grains, oilseeds, food and feed ingredients.
Commercial Director-Strategic Sourcing, Mars Petcare Company
Tom and his team manage over $1.5B in North America of Ingredients, Packaging, Energy and Commodity Risk Management encompassing sourcing, and sustainable agriculture for major materials such as animal proteins, grains, essentials, natural gas, and diesel. In addition, his team liaise with global business segments such as Mars Wrigley Confectionary and global category teams. Headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, Mars Petcare is one of the world’s leading pet care providers and employs more than 33,000 Associates across 50 countries. Forty-two brands in total, including three billion-dollar brands - PEDIGREE® WHISKAS® and ROYAL CANIN®. He has a demonstrated track record of successfully leading Procurement activity for billion-dollar brand portfolios, including Kellogg’s, Tyson Foods/Hillshire Brands, and Sara Lee externally manufactured meat and frozen bakery products. He has led cross-functional teams that delivered profit, revenue, share and volume growth in mature categories facing significant commodity pressures. A multi-faceted executive leader well versed in supply management across the value chain encompassing Risk Management, Agricultural, and Energy Derivative Markets.
Farm Policy Director, Organic Trade Association (OTA)
Nathaniel provides staff support to OTA's Farmer Advisory Council, on-the-ground outreach to OTA's organic farmer membership community, and analysis of policy issues that affect organic crop and livestock producers. He interacts directly with government officials and the organic supply chain on behalf of the grower segment of OTA’s membership. Prior to his current position, Nathaniel served as Certification Coordinator for Washington State Dept. of Agriculture's organic certification program where he managed WSDA's material review program and gained certification experience in all scopes of organic production. Nathaniel’s responsibilities at WSDA also included coordination of their periodic residue sampling program. Nathaniel holds a Bachelor’s of Science from The Evergreen State College with a focus in agricultural science and organic chemistry.
Executive Director, Oregon Tilth
Chris Schreiner has 20 years work experience in the organic sector. Since 1998, he has worked for Oregon Tilth. As Farm Program Coordinator, Chris coordinated the organic certification process for over 400 farms. As Quality Control Director, his responsibilities included policy analysis and managing accreditation with the USDA National Organic Program. Chris has been Oregon Tilth’s Executive Director since 2009. He has developed formal partnerships with traditional agricultural service providers, including Oregon State University and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, to expand access to expertise and resources for organic producers. In 2014, Chris served on the Oregon Governor’s Task Force on Genetically Engineered Agriculture. Chris is currently the co-chair of the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition's Research, Education and Extension Committee.
Marketing Manager, Insta-Pro International
Tori is the Marketing Manager for Insta-Pro Intl, global experts manufacturing chemical-free processing equipment such as extruders, coolers and oil presses to convert raw materials into ingredients and final products for use in the food and feed industry.
With over 10 years of experience in the agriculture industry Tori is currently the co-chair of the Animal & Aquaculture Utilization Team for USSEC (US Soybean Export Council), prior to joining Insta-Pro Intl, she worked in the communications department at DuPont Pioneer and received a dual Bachelor of Arts Degree in Cinema and English Literature from the University of Iowa.
Associate Director, Commodity Purchasing Group, Tyson Foods
As Associate Director, Commodity Purchasing, Lisa Williams has overall responsibility for front office commodity systems, including identifying, and maintaining sophisticated applications, forecasting tools, and statistical modeling systems that support decision-making activities. In this role, Lisa works closely with middle and back office staff in developing overall systems strategy. In addition, Lisa leads a team of analysts who perform fundamental and technical research for feed ingredients, food ingredients, and energy as well as identify and report on industry trends. A veteran of commodity purchasing, Lisa joined the Tyson Foods Information Systems department in 2005 and moved to Commodity Purchasing in 2008. Prior to joining Tyson Foods, she was involved in Organizational Change and Training activities at J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. Lisa has a Bachelor of Science in business education from the University of Arkansas.
